Homemade Bailey’s Irish Cream

Ingredients

  • 5 ounces milk chocolate, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups Irish whiskey
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk, 14oz
  • 1 can evaporated milk. 12oz
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cups heavy cream
  • 1/4 tsp instant coffee

Directions

  • Melt your milk chocolate either by the double-boiler method or in the microwave and stir until it's velvety and smooth.
  • Pour your chocolate into a large mixing bowl and stir in a tablespoon or three of Irish Whiskey. Then, mix in your condensed milk and evaporated milk until the mixture is completely smooth. Whisk in the rest of the whiskey, coffee, and cream.
  • Store in jars (or bottles, pitchers, etc) or drink immediately! It's best enjoyed a few days after it's been made - make sure to shake up the jars every day to help it mix properly - but it's darn good fresh too.
