How would you describe your culinary style?
I like to cook good healthy food that is of course delicious. I am slightly obsessed with seasonal veggies and fruits, and I feel that simple is usually best when it comes to food. My family is Italian so I grew up around really great, no fuss, home-cooked meals (with plenty of garden grown veggies from my grandpa!). I would have to say I definitely inherited my style of cooking from always seeing my parents and grandparents in the kitchen…though I didn’t realize it or appreciate it until I was much older.
What is the main source of inspiration for your recipes?
I have so many sources of inspiration, it’s hard to keep up with it all sometimes…most of the time though I’m most inspired from reading other food blogs, magazines, watching cooking shows and from meals I eat out at restaurants. I love trying to duplicate great meals at home, most of the time in hopes to healthy them up, my way. I also love talking food with other people, so many random conversations about what others like to cook or eat have turned into my own favorite recipes.
If you could have one food while stranded on a desert island, what would it be?
It would definitely have to be good cheese pizza.

Salt and vinegar potato chips. Nachos. And pizza. I am obsessed with pizza.
